Success is only possible with constant innovation and updates

Upon relocating to Brazil, the Lebanese immigrant Michel Melhem Sabbagh brought with him the hope of achieving prosperity in an unfamiliar land. Upon arriving in the city of Blumenau, located in the state of Santa Catarina, he planted a seed that would lead to a remarkable success story: the Cristina Group.

The choice of name for the small enterprise, founded in 1970 under the title "Malharia Cristina," was a tribute to his second daughter, who was born at that time. To honor his roots, Michel adopted the image of the Cedar of Lebanon as the company’s symbol, a millennia-old tree representing his heritage, values, and customs. The company grew by providing quality clothing for both children and adults. Over time, through a robust Private Label initiative, it established itself as one of the leading textile companies in Brazil.

Currently Cristina Group strengthens its presence in the baby and children's segments, focusing exclusively on this market selling quality products through its own brands to over 30 countries across Latin America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, North America and Asia.
